I enjoyed this one much than the first one The adventures of the SOS Brigade continue as Kyon learns about his friends as well as the predicament of Haruhi I honestly love all the characters of this series and I can t wait to read the next one

One of the best manga series I ve ever read Don t judge a book by its cover, this is not your typical manga.

Actually rating1.5 2 stars depending on how I think about it.More Thoughts than PlotLike a broken recordKyon is an average freshman at high school who has the misfortune or fortune of sitting in front of a very eccentric girl, Haruhi Suzumiya Her one great desire To meet aliens, time travelers, and psychics A chance conservation between Kyon and Haruhi leads her to found the SOS Brigade, a school club dedicated to finding such people Haruhi drags Kyon into her club along with Yuki who really jus [...]

Elisabeth (Enthralled by the Written Word)

This volume contained my favorite parts of the anime.

    Ashley Salisbury

    Interesting wink smile

I m looking for a way to describe my feelings for this book On one hand the series has such an interesting premise Japanese authors follow different rules than western writers I haven t read many other books by Asian authors so I can t say the same for it all The main purpose of this series What if God was one of us Sorry, not sorry, I had to be punny there the song And what if this God wasn t aware of it and, as such, accidentally began to rearrange the world when bored with nothing but a thoug [...]

The first several books aren t as good I don t know for some reason in the first 3 or 4, the art is totally messed up Kyon looks especially pathetic But the visuals get a lot better By the time you get to, say, 11 or even before that, the illustrations are fantastic And the plots get better and organized as well.I can t dislike Haruhi Suzumiya I ve watched the anime, the movie, and am eagerly awaiting the next manga release in English So, read these books and try to enjoy them Keep reading They [...]

This volume was a great adaptation of the first light novel volume It captured the sense of the ending of the first book, though not always in the same way.It opened a new insight into Haruhi and Kyon Kyon is shown to want to be friends with and actually like his fellow SOS Brigade members Haruhi is shown as immature, selfish, and pitiable at the same time She can t move past her disillusionment, and yet wants to be grounded She is selfish and yet seems to feel a sincere but pouty guilt when cal [...]

This book s art and pacing is terrible.Kyon looks like a flat headed mess, Koizumi looks like a smiling moron, Haruhi just isn t Haruhi, and Yuki looks like an adult that failed to grow out of her teens Mikuru is the only decent looking character in this manga The pace is too fast, people most likely would have to have prior knowledge to know what s happening.Go watch the anime or read the light novels Much, MUCH better than this Haruhi Suzumiya manga wannabe I m a Suzumiya fan too, but I just c [...]

Dani - Perspective of a Writer

I love the voice over feature of the narrative withe Kyon It adds so much to the story since everything is so odd I m not sure I like where the story is going though Haruhi is a god who created this whole boring world Uhh Still Kyon s journey is so fascinating He only barely keeps her from deleting the entire world by talking about how ponytails make him feel hot and kissing her This was actually the best moment of the entire volume Not much else happenedTTOM LINE Mikuru pulls her breasts out to [...]

EVERONE YOU DONT HAVE TO READ THIS HAY EVERYONE O Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya V II was the best, there was drama and exitment to this this volume.WARNING This book is only alowed for kids 13 or older, you should not let a little sister, brother, mother, or father see these books.Theres a reson why Manga Books are only alowed for teens, not for little kids below 13 people

    Dylan Murphy

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya continues And Volume 2 was a solid addition to the first one, building on each of the characters, explaining how some of the world works, and being damn fun while driving the story forward all at the same time Really the character interactions and growth are what makes this one shine

    Emmy Lou

I watched the first season of TMOHS, so I know what all is going on, but events are out of place Like it s only volume two and Itsuki has just demonstrated his powers to Kyon, but then in the next chapter or so, Kyon and Haruhi are already in the closed space This doesn t occur until somewhere near the end of the anime Hmm

    Feather Mista

Marat n de rese as gen ricas para el manga de Haruhi Adaptaciones con un dibujo bastante pedorro pero que va mejorando de a puchitos y una historia resumida pero fiel a las mucho m s divertidas novelas originales.

    Kit

We get a lot information in this one This is where it starts getting good I enjoyed this one just because I did get to see the bigger picture on how he was picked to help her I m looking forward to see what happens next Kit

    Ruth

I cannot tell if it s the art or the writing, but the manga for the Suzumiya Haruhi series really doesn t seem to capture the same magic that the anime does, at least not thus far I m curious to see how the original novels will suit my taste.

    Setsanata

I may read it, but I might not I might just start reading the light novel.Nope, I read it Read it in one sitting Omg, I really liked it I just think they re leaving out quite the bit But, I can t wait for volume three

    Patrícia

Better than the first but still not quite there The art is a bit weird for some reason and the english edition is hard to read because of the spine.

    Nidah (SleepDreamWrite)

    Good volume.

    León

Entretenida y divertida Debo de darle mucho cr dito por haberme introducido a las novelas ligeras y por mantener mi inter s.

    Hachton

It was understandable than the first.
