I usually really like Simon s stories but this one I felt just a bit strange I LOVED the peaceful Ice Warrior society and I really liked the way the story told of the changes on Mars But I wish the story had focused on that and not had all the key to time elements I m afraid they just felt a bit pointless I mean a lot of the audios are covering ground that was covered in the show but this just felt a bit too obvious and unnecessary especially as the key to time didn t really work that well in t [...]

The first of the New Key to Time series and it gets of to decent start always nice to see or hear the Ice Warriors , I liked the Doctors new companion to 6.5 10

As is obvious from the title, this is the start of a trilogy of stories that form a sequel of sorts to the Key to Time arc in the 16th season of the classic show The basic concept is similar, although the reasons for having to find the Key are different, and, judging from this entry at least, form a much stronger element of the narrative something really only true in the concluding story of the original. An interesting twist is that this time the tracer is a human being, artificially created to h [...]

Big Finish s new Key 2 Time arc starts off with a bang in the space of four episodes, we get a new quest for the Key to Time, a new companion, the destruction of the Martian civilization, the potential end of the entire universe, and talking insects And it ends with four of the six segments of the Key located What are the next two going to do for an encore I ll probably need to listen to this again to fully absorb it what sticks in my mind now are lots of nice little bits, but I feel like the wh [...]

Ice Warrior stories are always good, but this one is superb Without giving too much away, the origin story for their culture presented here is poignant as hell The other species dealt with here, an insect race, threatens clownish silliness but never quite goes there, and their story, though at times a bit absurd, is a nice complement to the Ice Warrior plot The third element, the Doctor and a conscious, humanoid Tracer off on a new round of Key to Time MacGuffin foolishness, I could do without, [...]

I enjoyed The Judgement of Isskar First off we have Amy, the new companion and Key to Time segment tracer in human form Ciara Janson, though very young for a Doctor Who audio companion, is really pretty good in this rather unusual role On top of that, we have the Key to Time itself, Amy s evil twin Zara plus sidekick, the early history of the Ice Warriors, and a rather odd insect like culture, whose set up frankly is total nonsense but the actors carried it off well Peter Davison, who has now be [...]

A sequel of sorts, dealing with fallout from the television episodes that dealt with the Key 2 Time Five gets a new Companion, eventually named Amy Ice Warriors and pyramids are involved I d have given it 4 stars if it hadn t lost me in episode 2 but it did get back on track later The story continues as pieces of the Key are sought.

    Debra Cook

The doctor is visited by an entity, he calls Amy, who tells him he has to recollect the keys 2 time because he didn t collect all the keys the last time He collects a few and then gets involved with Martians.

    Steven

The Key to Time must be sought again, due to the Doctor s carelessness during its last assembling The first stop in its search Mars, home of the Ice Warriors.

    Christopher Buchanan

Meh It s an okay story but it was very rushed A bit too convoluted.
